Our Vision
—The House of Hope Project is designed to provide economic, educational, health and socio-emotional support and assistance to adult women with young children during periods of transition
Mission Statement
žOur mission is to provide a safe, supportive and nurturing environment in which mothers and their young children can recover as they embark on a pathway to family well-being and self-sufficiency. Families will also have opportunities to receive spiritual and emotional support in the quest to attain and sustain independence and success in life. Education, self-discipline, self-reliance and healthy habits will be promoted through a variety of parenting, wellness, budgeting and health classes.
Selection Criteria
  • Adult female resident 18 years of age with no more than (3) children ages, 12 years or younger
  • All residents must be drug and alcohol free
  • Adult residents must be employed or actively-seeking employment or enrolled as a full-time student pursuing educational or job-training certification.  If enrolled part-time, adult residence must also be employed.
  • All residents must be willing to actively participate in Sunday worship services and mid-week bible study, or personal in-home bible study with an approved volunteer
  • All residents must be willing to participate in counseling and/ or educational sessions to include, but not limited to life skills, parenting skills, nutritional education, vocational training and money management
  • All residents must submit to a criminal background check
  • Residents must have Medicaid or proof of other health insurance
  • Residents must be willing to submit to full disclosure of all finances
